I've been a Subaru owner/driver/loyalist for the past 28 years now. Bought my first-ever new car (a Subaru wagon) in 1978. Loved it for 8 years until it rusted-thru . A new 1986 GL-10 wagon took its' place and thanks to some really great mechanics, 2 used engines and some TLC it lasted 19 years! Have a '05' green L.L.Bean now.

I think SoA dropped-the-ball by not offering a navigation package in a re-designed model.

According to them, I can't have the '06' system installed (retrofitted) because the neccessary wiring isn't in my car. That's OK, I think I'll go with a voice interactive system (vCommand) instead. I would like to get the Subaru roof mount antenna.

And sorry, but I have to ask...what became of the GL-10?
