  1. Shawn, I put in a notice for a 50/ 50 split on the $475 that Mudrat still owes me, but it didn't get posted. I was wondering what the issue was. Can you give me some insight why it was flagged? Merry Christmas.

    Matt

  2. Coils in the Brats are prone to failure. If your coil has been going bad, it might cause some issues similar to your situation. Just a guess. A more thorough description of the dying process might enlighten us more. Does it just die off? Or does it cut in and out? ?
  3. Welcome to the board. If you go into AAA, look for a black Brat. It is my old Brat and the owner had better be taking good care of it.
  4. Kelly blue book value on your Baja is $6700 excellent condirion - Alaska prices. FYI

  5. Yuo, sir (and a dozen others) are more than welcomed.
  6. I'm sorry - Is fitment really a word? Wouldn't fit do nicely?
  7. Honda makes a good, reliable product, but I prefer the older Suzukis or the newer Arctic Cats because of their true differential lock set ups. I've taken mine to places I had no business being.
  8. My back is incredibly sore. I blame subarujunkie, also.
  9. Looks like a blast and definitely more challenging than the Eureka area in AK.
  10. It's too bad Mudrat is banned because he made a sharp looking off-road bumper for legacies.
  11. Wish I could be there to cook crab abd salmon for you guys again, but I'll be moose hunting instead. Enjoy.
  12. I'd like to find (like everyone else) a Gen 2 Brat - pretty clean - with the 2.2 swap already done - again, cleanly - with a 4" lift, 5 spd transmission conversion with Jerry's kit, a LSD, and of course for as cheap as possible. FAT CHANCE!
  13. Try Dave Miller's Auto repair in Eagle River, AK. (907) 696-2096. I know he has a dual carb motor and a huge stash of old stuff.
  14. As for the problem of no gas, did you change the fuel filters? If it has been sitting for 5 years, there is probably a bunch of gunk/rust in the fuel and it could be clogging up the filters/ not allowing gas to flow to the carb. There are 2 filters, by the way - one under the hood, and one underneath near the gas tank.
  15. No glass company I know of will guarantee that they will not break the shield in the process. It might be better to pull the trim, pump in some flow-grade sealant to seal the leak, then reinstall the trim using urethane. If you're insured, hit it with a rock and get the whole thing replaced by someone who will warrantee their work.
  16. Why do you guys hold this the opening day of moose season? (I know why.) Jibs, if you drive through Beaverton, stop and ask John Bloom for some money for me. I keep asking, but he's not forthcoming now for over 2 1/2 years.
