Because of a collision, my 1989 GL-10 requires a new engine. A friend of mine is volunteering to drop one in, but only once I find one. I was wondering which kind of engine or engines would work, and which would work best in this model? For example, would a '91 Loyale work as well or better than an '88 GL?

Is your engine turbo'd? Fuel Injected? or Carbuerated? The only difference that makes are the heads and the compression.
