How can one use the SPFI throttle body without an ECM? What is the signal range that the injector gets? And how can that be replicated without an ECM?

Don't ask me why I ask, I won't say just yet.

I installed the SPFI system on my car - you have to synchronize timing, duration, mixture, and advances for fuel and spark all without a computer??

 

without an ECU of some sort (analog or digital), it can't happen without a carb and traditional distributor

 

if you want something simple, a weber conversion is your best alternative, with a standard carbureated model distrubutor

I've seen the car run with it, and now own the Wagon it was in. To bad he kept all the goodies.....

How about using fuel pressure/volume to regulate it? Provide constant voltage but vary the flow and or pressure of the fuel, then it wouldn't be much different from a carb.

 

My thoughts were to replicate this.....not that I could.
