So on a weekend road trip in the 2003 forester I noticed a strong antifreeze smell from the back end and found the coolant reservoir mostly empty. There was still plenty in the radiator. I filled it and proceeded home, but was wondering if this is a symptom of the head gasket problems some of you are having. Any thoughts? It's going in this week for a check at the dealer.

but it could be a loose hose or a number of other things. Good thing you are on warranty.
