1.8 engine. Where is the weakness? Anyway around it, as it is pressurizing my coolant. Will a retorque on the heads help? This car is on it last legs, yet it is the best thing for the winter up my driveway(4wd). Don't want to spend any major bucks - just trying to get thru the winter.

it's pretty easy to change a headgasket on an ea81. retourque could help, but it could make it leak worse too.
