Owner's manual says to replace timing belt at 105K miles, but I read in a Chilton manual that timing belt on 2.5 L engine should be replaced at 60K miles. Whom should I believe? How difficult is it to change? well being that the owners manual is produced by the manufacturer (Subaru), i would believe it more than i would a "(dis)repair manual that is produced by an outside company.
