well i installed a stereo in my 96 impreza, and now the dome light and power locks dont work, i tryed to dissconnect the radio, and it still does not work..does anyone have any ideas on what i did or a test i can do to find out whats wrongs or ever how to custom wire them up...

Check your fuses. Perhaps you toasted one with your handiwork.

Disconnect power to your new radio and check for blown fuses. Replace, test and then go back and hook up your radio. You might want to disconnect the battery before reinstalling the radio.

ive checked all the fuses and they all apear to be fine, ill run out and check em all rite now.. ill post back in a few mins

ok, i just got back from outside, the i removed all fuses from the fuse block, and checked them with a ohm meter all are good, i also tested the light bulb for the dome light and thats good too, anyone have any one have ideas.. somting with the wiring in the dash ??cuz i cut the connector and wired everything up seperately.. ??

i looked in the FSM, and waz unaware of the fuses in the engine bay.. i found the blow one in there and now it all works again.. thanks for the help:)
