boostusmaximus Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Can anyone tell me where the knock sensor is located on a 1987 Subaru XT. The Chilton book simply says on the block. The knock sensor is the last code I have to clear and the car should run fine. Are there any secrects to a bad knock sensor, kinda like how the coolant sensor is always just the corroded wires? Looks like I have to take a lot of things off just to get to it. I priced one at Auto Zone $149.99. Ouchh, is there anywhere else cheaper?
