i have a 5-speed impreza FWD and it drives me nuts that its not awd..the throwout bearing is going and i dont wanna invest any more money into it if im going to try and buy one with awd...however i cant seem to find one that isnt automatic.....and the thought of swapping drivetrains seems like its too over my head to do....i do have a friend that owns a garage and if i can find a good thread(monkey see monkey do) i could prolly figure it out

 

Should i keep lookin for an awd model...or take on the project

 

if someones done this before i'd give ya cash to help me out with the project (learning experience for me, and untaxed money for u)

where i live its nothing but jeeps and trucks...and i would love to have my lil subie keepin up in the trails

 

plus how sweet would it be to show up at a mt. party in a subaru impreza parked next to a rubicon on 32's
