This post is an update from yesterday. Car dies while driving on heavy acceleration. It can be restarted [runs poorly for 1 to 2 minutes], then runs ok, sets check eng. code po303, misfire cylinder 3.

Plugs [not to tight, ngk], wires and fuel filter new, coil pack swapped with one from junkyard.

Without replacing everthing at once I would like to prioritize the possible faults. Injectors? MAF? TPS? or replacing the plugs and wires again. Thanks again for your help. Joe

You could swap the injectors to see is the problem stay on cyl#3. If so, its you've ruled out the fuel system.

 

Have you checked compression and done a vacuum gauge check to see if it shows worn valves? Just a couple of thoughts.
