sgregory
I have a 2004 Outback LL Bean and I just purchased a Delphi SkyFi2 XM Unit and need to install the antenna. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or tips with running the antenna wire from the Xm radio to the roof. Thanks I have installed three in the last year, in an Explorer, Sedona, and a Grand Cherokee. On all of them I mounted the unit in the middle or upper are of the dash, and ran the antenna wire either up behind the dash or down and under the dash. From there I'm not familiar with the layout in the newer Outbacks, but you should be able to run it either down the side of the vehicle under the plastic trim, either along the floor or over the windows back to the hatch. From ther you can run it up along the top of the hatch, zip-tie it to something in the center area and out onto the roof. Should take 30min. at the most. Hope this helps.
