March 2, 200620 yr my car will fire right up in the mornin, at 12 degrees...but after warming it up and driving it 20 miles, it doesnt want to restart...it does finally, but after 5 sec of cranking and my foot floored...any ideas?? its a carbed 1987 gl wagon
March 2, 200620 yr Sounds like a choke that's stuck. Next time, take off the air cleaner cover and prop the choke open (you can stick a screwdriver in there) and see if it fires right up.
