I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for a bay area soob mechanic. I live in the city, so I'd like to find one here if possible. Also, I'm looking for a car right now, so any suggestions for a shop in north/east/south bay would be helpful too...especially east bay at this point since I'm looking at a car there.

They have a guy who used to work at the dealership. A number of folks here speak highly of the place and they are near the Caltrain station if you have to leave the car.

We have our fleet cars serviced there and they do pretty good work at about half the dealer cost.
