Self maintainence on Forester

Featured Replies

Recently purchased 06 forester xt turbo . The maintainence manual shows no lube points or zerks on the chassis and steering suspension parts. Are there really no lube points for this vehicle, or does Subaru not want you to do your own maintainence? I looked under the vehicle and could`nt find anything . If there is no lube required I would want to change my own oil and filter and air filter instead of paying jiffy-lube or Subaru dealer 40- 50 dollars for this service.

Fire away Subaru Geeks!....Thanks......Cobalt:)

change your own filters, leave the grease gun in the barn next to the carb. you won't need it. is that geeky enough or do i need to elaborate!
