All of a sudden this afternoon the Check Engine Light can on, first time ever. The cruise light it also blinking. I have a 2005 Outback Turbo. It has 29,000+ miles on it. Is this happening because they want me to take it in for a 30,000 tuneup? Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

This happened to my 05 OB non turbo just as the auto trany died. New one installed under warranty.
