i've been thinking about it, just wondering if anyone else has done it. and if you have, did you use...

hood shocks from a _____?

or small rear hatch shocks from another car that fit/bolt up?

kinda off topic but i retrofitted some shocks to a cherokee and it sure made a difference, however, i used one on each side and while it made it easy to open it was a little tougher to close :)

I know that the struts used on gen 3 Camaros ('82-'92) are pretty small and they sure don't like the heavy hoods of the Camaros so maybe they would work for our Subies... hmmmmmmmmmm

would like to see pics when complete...sounds like an awsome idea:grin:
