ej22t heads on n/a block?

Featured Replies

i was curious about putting ej22t heads on an n/a block for the valvetrain upgrade and just blocking of the turbo oil outlet thingy that i do not know the proper name for.as well as plugging the oil lines.any benefits?any hinderance.difference in using a closed deck head on an open head block?most of these questions will not make sense.

As far as I know the turbo heads don't flow as well as the n/a ones.I think thats why when someone builds up the ej22t block the first thing they do is get different heads. The other thing about the turbo heads is I believe the c/r will drop because of larger comb chamber.Good luck.
