I have an 92 2l turbo legacy engine (ej20t) without ecu/wiring harness

 

Is it possible to use wiring harness and ecu from an ej22?? If so do I have to modify the harness?

I did something similar, I help a friend put an EJ20G into his Legacy Turbo. We only needed to add two wire to the ECU connector and make a new engine wiring harness for the coil on plug ignition. In you case, you'll need to get a wrirng diagram for both configurations, study them and see where they are the same and where they are different. You could possibly get it to run on a N/A ECU, but it wouldn't run very good. You will need to get an ECU to match the engine.
