  1. Tok litt tid å svare på dette. Nei jeg vet ikke om noe miljø i Norge annet en meg og en bekjent, men subaruxt.com er et forum du kommer til å bli glad i.

  2. Or use an clutch alignment tool.. Usually comes with the clutch kit. Also you can try shaking the crap out of the engine while applying pressure towards the tranmission. usualy works for me.
  3. +1 All you need for an Ej alternator to work is a wire from acc on the ignition to the alternator. if you don't do this the alternator won't charge. At first I just connected the wire directly to the battery. But when then engine is not running it will draw some current from the battery this way.
  4. Also in addition to poor grounding it could be a bad alternator. You can fix the humming noise by installing a capacitor parallel with your stereo power.
  5. Bram on subaruxt.com did this on his ej20g build.. basicly they are the same. The only thing is that the atf lines on the ej rack outputs on the other side.. He cut a hole in the crossmember and strengthened it. Anyway here is a pic of it
  6. As I remember there should be a wire comming from the alternator that needs switched 12v for the alternator to alternate Sorry Don't remember the colour could be black or yellow or something If not connected to a switched 12v source but directly to the battery you can hear a low noice from the alternator.
  7. Its a hack job on the ordinary impreza setup.
  8. I had a top mount intercooler. Now it's there for the air cleaner. oh yeah and for looks
  9. Just thought I should ad this here as well. Nothing too fancy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VErlc5lghz4
  10. So why do you want to have a ej18 turbo.. Why don't run a ej20??
  11. Not realy as there are few "strips" here in Norway. But I have been running it at the street and I'm very satisfied with it. Did run it against a Honda s2000 and the xt was faster
  12. When hitting the trail let air out of your tires!! When i go wheeling I typicaly run about 8-10 psi That will improve your gear ratio and give you bether grip.
  13. Well you can se some picture of it here http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7143&highlight=
  14. Thanks for your help Yeah well I've more than once gone for a "cheaper" option and then bought the expensive quality part because the cheep one was rubbish.
  15. I have an subaru xt turbo with an forester turbo transmission and an ej20g legacy engine. Lately I've had problems with my clutch. This clutch is an cheep kit type rated for 300hp I bought out of e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/F1-RACING-STAGE-3-CLUTCH-SUBARU-IMPREZA-FORESTER-EJ25_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ005QQitemZ150208322475QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW When letting out the clutch it is far to brutal. It was nice and smooth when I first installed it. What could cause this? The clutch is a push type cable opperated one and I have to say that it does take some abuse from my suped up ej20g. Is there an difference in the clutch itself if it's push/pull type? I don't get this.. What kind of clutch should I look for?? Thanks Martin

    EA81 VS sammy?

Sorry I just had to comment about the first video. I belive than when using one winch in the rear and one in the front as he is using I could have done than with a subaru as well. But yeah you are right sammy kick subaru. Infact it's a sammy that have the worlds offroad altitude record.
  18. I definatly need the template to my ej20g xt
