May 8, 200619 yr i've done EJ22, EJ25, EA82, ER27...but never and EG33 timing belt and water pump. might be helping a friend out with his. much different than the other subaru's. if it's about as easy as those i'm willing to help this guy out. inteference or not?

May 9, 200619 yr <<i've done EJ22, EJ25, EA82, ER27...but never and EG33 timing belt and water pump. might be helping a friend out with his. much different than the other subaru's. if it's about as easy as those i'm willing to help this guy out. inteference or not?>> easy to do. i used to do SVX 60K/120K service at my shop for $350 the EG33 is technically an interference engine like all DOHC's, but it has cam gears that keep timing along with the belt. so unless you destroy the cam gears (very unlikely) your fine if your snap the belt.
