hi guys , up date the 94 legacy wagon in my last post dosent have a bad center diff. It has a bad front diff, drained front and bearing chunks came out.So i would like to know what model subarus and years i can use for aused auto trans.Also can i just put anotherfront diff on my trans.MY car is a 94 legacy wagon awd auto with a 3.9 rear end.thanks for your time!!

Assuming there was no other damage, you can replace just the front diff.

 

You'll need one with 3.9 gearing. The 92-94 legacy autos had 3.9 gearing. The 91-94 turbo legacy autos also had 3.90 gearing
