I have installed a weber 44 idf on my ea82, eliminated all smog crap, and computer

 

Bought a distributor from a carb'd ea81.

 

I can't get any spark thru the distributor...replaced the ignition module... still no spark...ignition module only has two wires...not sure what the deal is...

 

dh84 distributor...DO I NEED THE COMPUTER FOR THIS DIST. TO WORK?

 

DOES ANYONE HAVE A POINTS/CONDENSOR DISTRIBUTOR THAT WORKS?

on the EA-82 the distribuiter is ECU controled. and is more of a cam sensor than anything...

 

look around, see if you can retrofit points into something to make it work...
