My grandma has a 90/91 loyale I forget what year but I know it has the EA82 she just sent me an E-mail regarding her water pump she believes is about to go out, I dont know how many miles this car has and she cant afford a new car, I was curious if anyone could give me the information on how to replace the water pump myself and the cost

How does she know that this is a water pump?

If she is right, in order to get to water pump you need to get to timing belts. Do a search for timing belt and you get all the information you need. It takes me about 3-4 hours to change belts.

Think about leaving off the center timing belt cover (at least). It'll cut down the amount of time/effort/aggravation you need to change belts. I and many others on the Board run our cars without the outer covers at all. Makes doing everything on the front of the engine easier, and no negative reports yet from doing this.
