HELP! Stray vacuum hose needs good home

Featured Replies

I found this lost little hose wedged between the firewall and the fuel pump (anyway I think it's the fuel pump:rolleyes:), on the passenger side of my '80 Brat. It was not connected to anything, it was just there. Does it need to be hooked back up to something? I've looked everywhere for hoses that are not connected, but I can't see anything. HELP !!

Nope, those hoses are connected and working just fine. Thanks though.. anyone else have any idea?

Check the top of the intake manifold on the passenger side.Just near the carb.

I'll try later to see what's supposed to be hooked up to the other ends.

Just to get a little perspective on the size. (the pic is REALLY big.) The longer hose is only about 8" long, and the diameter on both hoses is about the size of a pencil.
