June 23, 200619 yr Hey guys, I'm wondering if the other kiwi's in this forum got out into the snow we've been having recently? got any cool pics? I know a lot of the USA members live with this every year, but this is a lot of snow for New Zealand!
June 23, 200619 yr Author I thought i would add one more pic, i must admit we were stuck at this stage and sliding towards a rather steep bank. The brumby just didn't have enough weight to bite through to the gravel. A little digging and we were away... but perhaps i should have had chains on.. hehehehe:grin:

June 23, 200619 yr Damn you! Snow in June! Makes me wish I could afford to go down there. Umm... It is winter here (aust/nz) now... We'll be back to summer and then you'll get snow.. It's a cycle. Can you wait? As for the snow... I wish I lived where it snowed.. No I don't, to fridgin cold! Still, theirs some nice mud around here, just no time to go play in it. And it only gets drier every year...
June 23, 200619 yr I do understand the concepts of seasons and their causes, as well as that you guys have it opposite of us northerners. I'm just jealous, it's supposed to be 90º this weekend.

June 24, 200619 yr oh how i miss the snow. thats some nice looking snow. looks like you had some fun with your brumby, a little weight in the back and you would have lots of traction.
