EA82 Engine removal problem.

Featured Replies

Spent most of today getting my engine ready to pull. jesus H the clutch fan was hard to get off, I had to go buy a longer 10mm wrench to get it off I'm not looking forward to putting that back on.

other then that everything went smooth other then a sticky DP bolt but WD-40 took care of that. Until it came time to pull the AC compressor out of the way, I've got the alternator off and now i'm quite puzzled as to how the hell I get the damned thing off. I've tried just about every bolt I can find even the 2 below it is it just stuck or am I missing something ?

thanks!

Did you get the the forward-facing one on the front of the engine under the compressor? (I am assuming that this is "factory" A/C, with the compressor mounted between the PS pump and the alternator.)
