1991 Loyale rear wheel alignment

Featured Replies

A few months ago I noticed that my rear tires were wearing unevenly. I took it to the Subaru dealer for rear wheel alignment. They told me it was wayout of alignment but that they had fixed it. They did not suggest that I needed any new parts in order for the rear wheels to remain in alignment, although they told me that numerous other things were wrong on the car. Now, 4 months later, the rear tires are again wearing unevenly - although a bit differently than before? Based on the type of tire wear, I think the toe is off.

If the alignment from a few months ago did not hold, what parts do you think I need to replace?

How expensive of a repair could this be?

If I remember correctly, there are no adjustable parts on the rear suspension. Only things I can think of would be the swing arm is bent, wheel bearing is shot or strut is bent. All easy to find at the junk yard.
