Is the carb on or off the car? If its on, just find the fuel filter on the driver's side rear corner under the hood and follow it to the carb. If the carb is off, just look for a barb on one of the sides, kinda hard to explain.

I found one of the lines coming out of the driver side of the carb. where's the other one? i found some pics of a de-emissioned carb, but they're not all that clear.

What kind of carb is it? If its other than a weber the should be 1 main barb, and a second real close to it. if its a weber, then it only has 1 and ther is no return.

hitachi. is the other one towards the front of the carb? there seems to be a few large "barbs."

Here's a pic: This is a weber, but I *think* they should be close, some older hitachi's I've seen have the fuel lines on the passenger side, it seems to be pre-1982 though.

Right above my finger there.

Right above my finger again. On SOME hitachi's I've seen, the fuel line will come around the front (bottom of pic) and wrap around to the passenger side. You can see where the fuel line kinda goes too. Hope this helps.

yeah, that helps. I think mine comes out the front sorda pointing downwards and wraps around to the passenger side. I guess we'll see when it's all done and I start it and fuel spurts everywhere, lol. thanks for the help guys.
