Hi guys, I have a 95 Subaru Impreza 5 speed with a 1.8L engine, and I'm wondering if it's possible to bump the timing up a couple of degrees. It has stock ignition which is distributorless so I have no idea how to approach this, or if it is even possible.

Nope, no way to mechanically adjust timing on any EJ series engine.

 

Hang tight, I have a wicked EJ18 build which should see fruition within the next 6 months
