sc850r
The passenger side intake gasket on my 95 legacy GT failed after only 5K miles. When I took the manifold off the gasket looked squashed and had cracked in several places. Did I over torque the manifold? What is the correct torque? Do people use sealant or not? Suggestions? Thanks!
ccrinc
No sealant. Clean both surfaces thoroughly. About 15 ft. lbs. MAX. Emily http://www.ccrengines.com
Setright
Sounds right. Overtorquing those bolts is all too easy, use a good torque wrench on the new gaskets.
sc850r
Thanks for the info. I guess I won't use the 3/4" impact gun this time and the 3 foot breaker bar is totally out of the question!
