Fan craziness

Featured Replies

Okay, the fan in my 86 GL only works at settings 3 and 4. I was wondering, if the fan works at the 2 highest settings I would think that the problem wasn't the fan motor. Seems logical right? Any thoughts?

Electrical parts art not my strong suit (although not much else is either)

It's the blower resistor assembly, if it's anything like any other car on the road. Where it is and how to replace it, I couldn't tell ya though.

Yup

Passenger side. Under the dash part of the fan housing.

Not terribly difficult to change, but can be hard to find a good one.
