Hi All,

 

Dad's '96 legacy is losing water through a slow leak somewhere, and subsequently overheating from time to time. Its been in to subaru a couple of times but they cant find where its leaking, and in reality, I dont think they give a ************. The car is getting on a bit now and its not important to their customer service record.

 

Anyway, is there anything in particular its likely to be? Common weak point in the cooling system?

Well for me it was my waterpump and once i changed it not a single leak. Check near the front of the engine. And i suggest you find a better dealership.
