I can get a 1985 subaru DL wagon for 5-750 bucks.The interiors ok,the body is ok.lowish miles-85,000.the only thing supposedly wrong is the front struts are bad,but I bounced the car up and down and the rebound rates dont seem bad.it has a EA82 carby I think.Its got a push button 5 speed 4wd.

How hard is it to swap to a DR 5 speed when I get serious about lifting it?

 

 

as for my brat,Im putting a for sale sign on it and parking it in an area with a lot of traffic.selling to highest buyer.I figure its probally for the best because I would be offroading it and the body may get destroyed.Plus the wagon is more practical-if I want to take a couple friends and go camping for instance.
