are there other legacy 5MT trannys that will work in my 96 OBW? also can someone please list final drive ratios of gen2 legacies.

There are other MY's that will work. What is your final drive ratio? Your owner's manual will probably have that info.

 

There are a few threads, try searching if you don't get an answer from someone.

Your final drive ratio is 4.11, I know some of the RS's use this ratio but I don't know what year and if the NA's are the same.

 

But there are definately options out there, sorry I'm not more help.
