I've an '01 Outback Wagon with the air filtration system for interior air.

 

Does anyone know where the filter is located and how to change it?

Yes typically you would remove the glove box and the filter or filters are behind there. I think I have an image here somewhere let me look... There's also an article on endwrench.com
