September 2, 200619 yr I have a GenII EJ22 out of a 95 Legacy sitting in my yard in which I would like to use as a swap into my ea81 wagon. I have not seen to many posts about how much harder swapping a OBD II engine would be. Anything I should be worried about? Or should I just dump the OBDII and get a OBDI? Thanks Jeremy
September 2, 200619 yr 95 should still be OBDI......unless it was built very late in the year and somehow was made with OBDII. 96+ is OBDII for sure. The wiring that came with the motor should still be able to be fitted to your car, no? Jay
September 3, 200619 yr go with the obdII if you have it. I am running a 96 in mine and if you have the two sets of factory manuals the conversion isn't bad.
