Goodyear Assurance Tires

Featured Replies

Anybody have Goodyear Assurance tires on thier Forester? Have you had any problems with them. I'm considering them for my 99 Forester S. Should I be concerned about the speed rating???

Thanks

I have some on my '00 Outback wagon, maybe 50k miles on them. I love them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. No issues at all (other than a flat from a screw that the tire place was able to repair), get yourself some!

I have them on my 00 Outback wagon and they work great. However myself and a couple others have had issues with them not balancing properly (have had them balanced 5 times in 8K but still get a vibration in the steering wheel above 60 mph) So my suggestion would be to make absolutely sure they balance to your satisfaction in the first few weeks so that you can try another set if not.

I must've lucked out, no balance issues on mine. :headbang:

i'll be sad when it's time to replace them... but at about 130k miles (95k on the car now), maybe another set is in order, depending on how long I plan to keep it.

:burnout:

I've had them on my '98 OBW since the spring and absolutely love 'em! They are very quiet, run well in the rain, and have awsome grip.
