This is a great thread on doing a 4wd conversion on an EA82, but, what if i wanted to do an EA81.... '82 2wd wagon. Parts coming from an '84 dual range wagon (except tranny, which is from an '82 dual range wagon).

Rear axle and subframe, shifters, driveshaft. That'll do it??? Will the dash from the '84 swap into the '82 2wd?

With the EA81's i believe you have to swap gas tanks as well. Having never done it i dont know if there are any more steps. All i know is stuff thats easy to do on EA82s is a PITA on the EA81s when it comes to swaps. As for the dash yes it will swap right in.
