Hi, my 2006 Impreza 2.5i Wagon less than 400 mi on it, was in a hail storm on 8/24 and now i'm just getting over it, what still get me pissed off is, my apartment parking lot had 23 car parked at the time and my car got the damage, $4,900 the highest and $2,000 lowest. looking around the parking lot for car's with dents and only one another car got a couple dent, which was a Chev. My ? is why did my car received so much damage. I read on the web that Impreza has thin skin or sheet metal to improve gas mileage, is this true?

wow, that sucks, well manufactures do get cheaper over time, and feel they should use thinner metal to lower price, and weight, there for helps fuel economy. But sorry bud, i cant believe that happened. The best of luck!

Sorry to hear that. Your car was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I once had a rental Chevy in Texas that looked like it was hit by a thousand golf balls form hail.
