Dickensheets
This was a test of my new 225/60/15s. Not an A/T for sure but did ok. The wider footprint floated over the sand pretty well. I was alone so I didn't get too ballsy in the deep stuff. 97 obw 4eat

Dickensheets
Cool pics. Where in Houston were you at? This is SH 242 & I45 (slightly east of the Woodlands) under a bridge across the San Jacinto River I think. It's popular with the jeepers. rd

johnnysubaru
What kind of tires are they? I'm in the market for new ones as well and they appear to have a decent tread.
outback_97
Those look good... no rubbing on the struts? I bet they handle better than my 75 series tires Steve
Dickensheets
They are Falken ZE 392s I think, 225 - 60 - 15. National Tire & Battery $74 a piece. $377 out the door with check of alignment (I did not need an adjustment). They fitted them and checked for rub while car was still there. Lots of clearance. I could have gone 235 wide but that size was unavailable in the store. Extremely happy. Silent on the freeway at 80mph!
Wayne Boncyk
BTW - What's up with that shovel on your roof rack? Don't you expect your subie to pull you through almost anything??
