danbennett2u
Will I hurt anything by running my heater controls vacuum directly to a manifold nozzle? It originally had some gizmos in between but all the hoses got all mucked up... This is an 87 gl wagon, with an EA81 transplanted in.
daeron
i dont know if it will work.. it needs the little accumulator canister at least. thats basically just a chamber to build up a decent volume of air at vacuum pressure to operate your controls.. like a capacitor
danbennett2u
I tried it and they work fine and quickly without it... I was worried that maybe there would be too much vacuum

The only thing I would be worried about is if your car was a turbo model, in that case, you could probably route the lines to the brake booster past the one-way valve so you'll almost always have vacuum.
