Oil Seperator Plate questions

Featured Replies

Hello, did a search but no luck.

I just recieved my new metal oil seperator plate for 97OBW 2.5 I noticed the plate came with new allen head bolts rather than philips head, I assume this is so that the bolts can be properly torqued? Also I noticed one of the bolts has Loctite on it and is a different part number than the others. There is also an arrow stamped in the new metal plate that points to one of the bolt holes.

Here are my questions:

What is the torque for the bolts?

What is the tightening sequence?

Where does the bolt with Loctite go? (in the hole with the arrow?)

Thanks again,

Sam

Thats news to me on the bolts but they have b een real troublesome to remove in the past so maybe the allen heads will be easier.
