October 25, 200619 yr so whats is a good price to pay for all the donor partsfor the ej22 swap? and the lug pattern on my dl is a little lacking in variety as far a rim chioce i heard about a couple of transplants whats a good donor car for that?
October 25, 200619 yr If you are gonna be swapping in the 5 lug, you're gonna need the XT-6 lower control arms, and then a complete set of what ever newer subaru you're swapping in, so outer axle cups, hubs struts, and brakes. In the rear, you're limited to the XT-6, with the backingplate, hub.rotor and caliper, which the last is the same as the regular four bolt caliper.

October 25, 200619 yr If you are planning on doing a 5-lug conversion, you NEED some parts from an XT6. For the front, you'll need the control arms and the tie rod ends, the rear, you'll need the rotor, hub, caliper and backing plate. Those are the needed parts for ANY 5-lug conversion to be bolted into an EA82 vehicle. Then you can use the knuckles, front brakes, calipers, and struts from the Legacy. You can either swap tophats on the struts to make them bolt in or oval the holes in the strut tower to accommidate the wider Legacy tophat. Remember, going with the Legacy parts in the front, you lose your ebrake. Also, you'll need to make some axles to work. You'll need the 23 spline DOJs with the Legacy CV stub.
