my buddys dad has late 90's OBW I think its the 2.2 L but i'm not 100% sure. its got a pretty bad oil leak. I've only taken a look at it in the dark with a flashlight so I don't know exactly where its coming from. Are there any really common places for these to spring a leak ? He took it in and the mechanic said it was his oil plan and wanted $1,200 to fix it (non dealer mechanic). Who makes the best replacement pan gasket and is there any other places that I should take a real carefull look at before replacing the pan gasket?
