Just filled the tank after a week of combo highway / city driving. I am getting an average 22.7 MPG city / highway out of Murphy, the FT4WD, 5 speed, $500 87 T-Wag. This is much better than the 19 ish I averaged when the car had the crappy 3 speed auto tranny. I am happy.:grin::grin::grin: Can't wait for the next San Diego gig.

yes, cars with manual gearbox makes better mileage and can perform better too

sweet that makes me look forward to getting my manual box put in. Im getting 25.5 mpg right now with the 3AT. Hoping for at least 30 with the swap.
