Ugh, I am getting close to done on the wagon and I am finding wiring gremlins from all angles.... frustrated.

 

The headlights dont work at all. No high beam, pull/push stalk nothing, no park lights, dash lights, etc. The 83 Wiring diagram indicates there is 1 relay, the 84 indicates 2. Mick helped me over the phone and found his info says 83 Turbo should have 2 as well.

 

Either way, I cant find anything under the dash that resembles what I typically look for when looking for a headlight relay. Normally 2 round relays just like fuel pump relay in appearance with black plugs according to book....NOT THERE.

 

There is no power at either of the HL fuses (9/10). There is power at all 3 fusible links under the hood.

 

Ive also got a blower motor that wont come on even in position 4. Ill narrow that down tomorrow, for now I just want headlights.

 

If it matters my flashers dont work on the right (pass) side of the car either.

The relays should be mounted next to the fuse box, under the dash and to the Right.

My 83 has them just in front of the battery..... i have also seen them in front of the radiator.....

I think I found it I will update with what will be funny to many on what happened (hopefully tomorrow).
