i have a 92 loyal4wd

 

when i fill up the gas tank, it usually only goes to 3/4 tank or so, and then operates normaly. i have yet to see the warning light, even after 340 on 1 tank it didnt show up.

 

what can i do to fix the needle not going to full problem, and is this causing the gas warning light to be inoporative?
