Source for replacement EGR Valve?

Featured Replies

I need to replace the EGR valve on my '99 Outback, it has the Check Engine light on (an EGR Flow malfunction).

The best thing I've found is AutoZone for $170. Does anyone have a suggestion for another source (i.e. less expensive) for this part?

Thanks in advance!

I'd at least check online OEM price at 1st Subaru parts. Their website doesn't work at the moment but I assume they're still in business.

Have you pulled it and cleaned the valve and the ports? If not, I'd do that first. I have one from a 98 2.5, I believe they are the same if you need one.
