97 outback limited parts interchangeability

Featured Replies

Looking for some info. What are the chances that the r/h rear wheel, axle and bearing hub are the same part for a 96 Outback Limited and my 97? Looking to a wrecker to provide the parts and he has the aforementioned.

As long as they're both disc brakes & have AWD, the hubs should be 100% interchangable. Axles should be the same as well.

Not sure about the wheel. If it's the same size & type....I don't see why you couldn't use it.

they are the same. rear disc setups especially, they are the same from early legacies to late and with the exception of abs sensor setups they are even the same into wrx setups.
